Hi there! I’m Boney — 29 years old and a producer of 140 BPM riddim. My sound is unique but rooted in the inspiration of legends like Infekt, Loompaskettee, Mushroom Cloud, Subtronics, Izzy Vadim, Crankdat, Sisto, Chibs, Midnight T, and so many more artists I admire. My style fits best in a high-energy riddim event — where the bass hits deep and the vibes run wild.

 

I grew up in Florida but moved away in 2014. I spent 8 years in the U.S. Navy operating nuclear reactors on submarines before retiring in 2022 to build a life that truly felt like mine. After trying out the corporate world and even diving into coding, I realized what really called to me was music. Around that time, I was going through a divorce and rediscovering who I was. I reconnected with an old high school friend — Vanirz — and started tagging along to his bookings in the Orlando scene. That community reignited my passion for sound, energy, and creativity. With his encouragement, I decided to give producing a shot myself. In December 2024, I opened Ableton for the very first time — with zero experience and a ton of curiosity. Using free online resources and a lot of trial and error, I taught myself to produce and haven’t looked back since.

 

As of now, I’ve written over two hours of original music and performed alongside some of my favorite people in the scene. I aim to be the change I want to see in my community — promoting respect, love, and individuality through my art. I produce full time and stream my work often, sharing the process as it unfolds. My dream is to travel the world, connect with new people, and share my music in places I’ve never been.
